Bamboo

Bamboo is a renewable resource that has been used as a construction material over the centuries. Bamboo differs from timber in that it is classified as a grass and as such it has the ability to grow to maturity in about 4-6 years. Due to this fast growth rate bamboo has a high yield for the land area planted. Fast growth results in a high release rate of oxygen back to the atmosphere and similarly carbon dioxide is absorbed from the atmosphere. The root system remains unharmed after harvesting and re-growth occurs rapidly. Forest management practices to international standards can also be met which promotes environmental sustainability and social responsibility.

Comfort
Bamboo is cooler in hot temperatures, keeping your skin, feet and floor clean & confortable rather than sticky. It is also warmer in colder temperatures.

Eazy to clean
Spills can be cleaned up with a mop or sponge. At all other time, electrostatic mops easily pick up dust and dirt.

Durability
Stand woven bamboo flooring is the hardest and rates more than 3000 on Janka Scale, significantly harder than Brazillian Cherry (Jatoba) which is rated at 2350.

Eclology
Bamboo is a truly sustainable harvested grass that regenerates at least 8 times faster than hardwood. Fully matured bamboo were selected for maximum strength and hardness.

Beauty
Bamboo flooring combines quality with beauty and elegance. Steaming creates varying depths of colour whilst stains provide alternative options to the natural bamboo colour.
